so i have a ams 30r kit that had a recirculating wast gate and i converted it to atmospheric. now i cant seem to control my boost. my boost gauge is maxing out at 30 psi. also i have a mbc and its all the way turned down. would dumping the wast gate cause this problem?

 

i also have a 3 port grim speed but i wasn't gona put that on till i get tuned. would putting it on now help the problem?

 

MBC turned "down" usually adds more boost. Does it make a difference if you turn it "up" ?

 

i mean like i turned it all the way towards the negative side
