FP's design process for the HTA compressor wheel aero package was a , "...blank page effort targeting ONLY high pressure ratio efficiency (5:1), surge line efficiency, and flat RPM lines thru as much of the compressor map as possible..." (Robert Young).

Robert made the above statement when asked to compare his HTA comp wheel design to Garrett's GTX comp wheel design. According to Robert, Garrett's GTX aero is more of a compromise that sacrifices max compressor flow at higher pressure levels in order to obtain quieter sound levels imposed by automobile manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz.

I think the 71 out flows by two pounds a minute 51 to 49 the is green. And it's like 650$+-.

The 71 IMHO must have better efficiency than the os green.

So for future buyers consider what 650 could do. Used os green, which may need a new bearing soon. 650 gets you a new built 71.

I just want a 9.8 housing for my 71.. Lol

OS Green flows more like 47lbs/min, not 49. This is only slightly more than a stock IX turbo's 44lbs.
