Need help on how to properly resize combustion chamber to 87mm.

Any hints/ ideas on how to resize my 9 head to a 87mm bore so I won't have those extra 2mm of head material hanging into the combustion chambers. I have a cossworth 87mm gasket that I can use. I have all the tools needed to do the job.
Also is it required to do so?
This is going on a 2.4L with wiseco 10.1 pistons. Tomei 280 cams. 6765. Goal 900+. I have all the supporting moods to make that power.

Thanks guys.
I'll post pics of the process for those that want to see once ima resize them after I get some ideas from you guys.

best way is to mate head to bare block upside down and mark the over hang. there can be core shift in both head and block. early 4g63 had pretty bad shifts. so much that some I built only had over hang on one side of chamber.
