trans problem 03 or 04

i was just reading a bunch of the trans problem threads, and i was just wondering if anyone here has an 04 and if they have the same problem. i am a possible evo buyer and am trying to make a decision on the evo. i just want to make sure i'm not gonna regret buying this car

i have an 03 with about 1500 miles... so far there is no issues with my tranny... as long as you dont hard launch the car, everything should be cool.

I don't see how the 04 model with be different from an 03, unless you're talking about the RS models... but they should be identical.

I would just buy one. They have not released any update or official issues that they have found in the trannys.

I use to have tranny problems. I have linked all the problems to the crappy Mitsu tranny fluid. I switched to GM Syncromesh Tranny Fluid and I have no more problems at all. It shifts so smooth I don't even notice it anymore.

At high rpm it kinds of grinds going into fifth gear. I will change all the fluids soon. Btw 15000 miles.

No one has an 04. They haven't been released yet.
