Can anyone comment on the power capacity of a shape stage 2 build on a 4-6 transfer case? I know they weaker than the 8 and 9 stuff stock. Looking to be good for 6-700whp.

 

That's the first I'm hearing of the 4-6 tcase bring weaker than the 8 from the factory.

Either way the materials in an upgraded ring and pinion should be the same regardless of vehicle and should withstand equivalent abuse.

 

just curious what you "think" you are getting with a stage II rebuild? I dont think anyone makes ANY upgraded parts for the 4-6 boxes.
