Rev Limiter

besides full management, what can you do to get rid of your rev limiter?
i am upgrading my car.but for quarter mile sake i wanted to remove my rev limiter so that i can run the quarter mile using 4 gears alone and not having to shift into fifth.last time i raced i ran out 4th gear and had to shift into gear 5 and that costed me alot of time.cause 5th gear is lazy!

i cant flash it because i would have to send it to the US and that would take forever.

could the greddy e-manage take out the rev limiter?
i just want to be able to rev to about 8000rpms.that should do it.

thanks

send your ECU to [email]Al from www.dynoflash.com he will also take the fuel cut off, both for $79.99, this is the only way, send it via fedex overnight or something similar

currently no piggyback can control rpm, but Turbo XS will eventually come up with an aption like that but it would take longer than just mailing your ecu in

Doesn't HKS something to cut the rev-limiter?

I might be mistaken...

Good idea. I think Vishnu and WORKS can flash out the rev limiter as well - that is - on an EVO VIII. I don't know about a VII.

We sent out ECU's to Al from Dynoflash to have the rev limit increased. Talk to him. He's a good guy to deal with.

I own an Evo7 and the 7 ecu code is not the same as the 8, that's why Al's can not play with them, mine had to be send to Japan (Gforce) to crack the code and now it is fully flashed.
