Eagle stroker engine advice?

I have a Evo IV that has spun a shell causing the bottom end to be knocking..

As far as I know it has..

Evo 8 pistons/rods
Evo 5 turbo
Evo 6 ecu (remapable aparently??)
3port boost solenoid
Standard injectors
Standard FMIC

I have a dyno print out just before I got it at 360bhp @1.3bar does that sound about right?

I've stripped the engine and found 1 spun bearing and all 4 pistons have broken away between the rings.. I have a galant 40k 2.4GDi engine 4g64 so I was considering using that to repair/improve my Evo

Wile looking for parts I've found a 4g63 2.2 eagle crank, cps rods, Wisco pistons 2nd and well within my price range! I've read lots of posts about 4g64 cranks compared to eagle and I really can't decide what capacity, rod length/stroke engine I should build or which block to use? 63 or 64?? So I've decided to get the 2nd hand bits with new shells and rings all round and stick with my 63 block.. Am I making the right decision???

I'm planning on buying adjustable pulleys as I'm sure I needed them to change the timing with the 4g64 with Evo head? Will I need to adjust the timing for the eagle crank setup? I think ill be going for hks ones on eBay uk for £150.. Are they genuine??

Last question, I am planning on fitting a holset hx35y (internal wastegate) turbo from a large truck engine I have for scrap (turbo is like new and big!) obvs I'm gona have to build all this then get it mapped again so I want bigger injectors too what size should I go for? I'm am overwhelmed by the selection available.. 700 800 1000 1200!!! Also what headgasket thickness? I'm thinking 1.3mm HKS?? I haven't got the tools to work out the actual capacity or compression ratio etc. but I'm fully capable of building the engine ready for mapping to hopefully a pretty reliable 500bhp?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I go go for it

Thankyou.

Yes that sounds reasonable.

The 4g63 is going to be less of a hassle to deal with. With the whole gasket issues and all that, I would stick with the 4g63.
Yes, there have been many many 4g64 Evos. English Racing, TSComp, Buschur Racing, are just few of many that have had success with 4g64s not causing issues. Unless you have a shop as reputable as the ones mentioned above, I would not venture with the 4g64 and stick with the 4g63.

As for the combination you found, if you're looking to do a 2.2 then I would suggest English Racing's 2.2SLR which has proven to be kick ***. I'm willing to bet it's slightly more expensive than the combination you found, but it is worth the extra money. Or you can just change to a 2.3 or a standard 2.0 for less.

Yes you need to change timing with the 4g64, and for that price, it seems like it's genuine.

As for injectors, if you're only planning to run on pump gas (I don't know what octane ratings exist in the UK), then 1450 injectors should be enough. I personally went with 2150s as I will not be needing to change my injectors if I plan to go with a more powerful setup.

Head gasket, stay with OEM.
