help analyse my head fault plz

Hey guys my car just finished a 2.3 build and before I could get it back from my engine builder we had a very big set back.

The car kept burning cylinder number 4 spark plug. After we had stripped we found 1 exhaust valve had burnt and pieces from broken spark plug had travelled thru intake manifold and damaged all the cylinders.

The car has +1mm black nitrate supertech valves with gsc s2 cams.

The installing on the valves with porting and flowing are done by another performance shop.

The tune was at 17psi on 93 octane fuel with zero counts of knock.

Please help me identify the cause of this incident

What injectors do you have on your car? Are they high z injectors? If they are, did you remove / bypass the resistor pack? If not, that could be your problem.

That cylinder looks like its not getting any fuel. Your zero counts of knock is probably because there's no combustion going on. That's my guess. Was it misfiring?

I have 2000cc injector dynamics.
And no my tuner said its not needed to bypass injectors as they working fine

That cylinder was cleaned that why it looks like that.
The car was not misfiring and made 402whp on 95 octane fuel on about 16psi

Whatever the cause it IS detonating. The tip of the plug is full of silver speckles.

I'm pretty sure ID 2000cc are high impedance injectors and will definitely require that you bypass the resistor box or else you will face problems mainly with cylinder number 4, which you do seem to have.

I've had a friend with 3 engine failures caused by cylinder 4 due to him not bypassing the resistor pack. He had the exact / very similar results as you did. Now he bypassed the resistor pack, he has no issues at all.

I would suggest that you absolutely and immediately bypass the resistor pack since you are using high impedance injectors as the resistor pack along with high impedance injectors cause failure starting from cylinder 4.

As for proof you'll want to test the resistance / voltage that runs to all injectors. I forgot the numbers that you should be seeing, if you look around I'm sure you'll find them.
