I've searched and can not find much on this matter. My car just started popping second gear out if i downshift above 4500 rpm, or if I bring it up in second to 5500 rpm or so and let off the gas it will pop out as well.

I bought the car from a very reputable shop a few months ago. Haven't put more than 1200-1400 miles on it. Before I purchased it, the seller went through the tranny and rebuilt everything that needed it.

Please I need help, I'm hoping its not internal to the tranny, but I feel like its going to be

I had the same problem on my 3S. There was a problem with the shift fork and the tranny needed rebuilt. Replaced the internals and it was fine again.

 

If it was "rebuild" check the linkage and bushings, but my bet is on the slider/collar
