The CBRD O2/Downpipe combo is completely amazing. I get it's not the cheapest (hard to compete with China prices when your stuff is hand made in USA), but from a performance standpoint, and quality, it is flat out great.

One of the many "little things" that add up to a great performing car.

With that said, there's tons of random off the shelf setups that work just fine for less. It's all in what you want out of the car. I wanted the most, and the CBRD piece gave me that.

I also looked into many custom tig-welded housings and didn't feel that they do a good job when it comes to flow, especially the 90° turn. While I don't have back to back dynos or evidence of my theory, I drew a quick examples below explaining my opinion.

Invidia

I have read that a few folks having issues with Invidia not sealing properly after the install. Did you have issues with the donut gasket that was provided by Invidia?

Yeah, I don't like the 90 degree angle either. We'll see if it cause boost creep. If it does I might end up with the CBRD combo as well.

I had a DBB Green, now I am going with a BBK 3B.
I wouldn't have had this made if I was going with an FP turbo with the new housing.

Dang, why y'all gots to be all dramatic? I'm just asking questions. Just to clarify, I will be upgrading to FP Red BB or a BBK turbo. So I may just go with Invidia but I want to clarify those that have it or used it. What issues have you run into with sealing?
I see that CBRD mentioned some cracking.
What was done to those EVOs?
Did they have just an Intake, TBE, and a maxed out tune at around 330-350AWHP? Or did these have 500+AWHP?
Too much pressure, too much heat?

Coming from Honda world and figuring the O2 pipe is restrictive. I have an AMS 3 inch downpipe. Wanted to make sure it mates up 3 inch O2 outlet to 3 inch downpipe inlet. I'm a bit **** about details like that.

Well with that said do not even waste your money on an o2 housing. Get the Green or Red with FP's new SS hotside. Buy a down pipe from MAP that will bolt up to it. 3" from the hotside to a 3" down pipe. Done and done

I've been using a invidia for the past eight years with zero leaks or cracks.
