Issue w/ boost...what exactly am I experiencing?

2006 IX SE
Stock Turbo
Stock Block
Stock WGA
MAF
APS Dual Port BOV
93 Octane Reflashed (22psi)
1050cc
walbro 255
272 cams
EBCS

I have Evoscan on the way in the mail + gauges, so right now I have no firm information on what it is I am experiencing. Car was working fine up till a few weekends ago.

The Issue:
@ WOT, when I start building boost, it feels as if I am riding the clutch and building boost between shifts. Like, it feels as if I am giving the car a bit of gas before I reengage the clutch between shifts.

Beyond that, the car drives normal. It is only when I am fully engaged in a gear and floor it that it wants to have this boost issue.
- No CEL.
- Replaced EBCS, no luck.
- Reset ECU, no luck.

Been doing some reading around, does this sound like “boost spike”? I won’t know till I log obviously. If it is a boost spike, why all of a sudden? I don’t believe this is boost creep. I am considering purchasing a new WGA. I am going to wait on that till I get some firm data on the car though.

My Inkling:
Since the car is running normal otherwise, a part in the fuel or boost system must be about to go (or has gone).

Either that's a slipping clutch, or I'm misunderstanding your description.
