Engine messed up when ACD lights come on

Hey guys, before all of you jump on the newbie for not searching let me clear the air by saying I did however I havent found anyone else who had this problem.

So I have an 05 SSL with a JAM 2.3l stroker. The motor is fine mechanically as I have had two seperate shops look at it. I just had it tuned and dynoed at a very modest 480whp. It was fine during the tune.

Now, the part where the ACD lights come into this is last week I was driving and all of a sudden the car bogs down and the engine runs like complete ****. I quickly turn it off and have it towed to the shop. Right before the car bogs all three ACD lights come on. We dont know why it does that but its definitely electrical. I have an extra engine harness but doubt that is the problem.

The car runs fine sometimes for 30-40 miles and sometimes itll do less than a mile before the lights come on and ruins the engine. No CEL or anything else comes on. Just the three ACD lights at the same time.

Has anyone encountered this? Im hoping to get it fixed soon as I havent even gotten to drive the car yet.

Thanks,
Teja

Obvious question but is the ACD pump okay (usual reason for all three lights to come on)? It won't throw a usual CEL code. I took mine to the dealership and they had to hook up a special reader to determine that the ACD pump was bad.

That wouldn't explain why your engine would run bad, though. Mine ran fine. But, if the ACD pump is bad, maybe if you got that fixed, it would fix your engine problem too if you have some weird electrical tie-in between the ACD pump and engine management. Just trying to eliminate the obvious.

True true thanks. I do believe the pump was working fine and my mechanic decided that wouldnt change the performance of the engine... I am going to bleed the system or change the pump as discussed in other threads just to make sure
