Injen intake and IC piping any good?

Hi. I was just wondering if the Injen intake and IC piping kit is any good? I'm not going for mental power so was just going to stick with the standard airbox modified but I've found somewhere selling the Injen at a decent price and figured it's worth spending a bit more money before remap if it's going to help get me better gains.

Thanks for any input

If you are getting it for dirt cheap I guess.....
I would go with something that is proven to work and is high quality like ETS. I've been running the complete ETS FMIC with intake for like 4 years with zero issues.

Well I wouldn't say DIRT cheap but getting decent parts over here in the uk without paying a fortune is not easy as far as I can tell. I just want something half decent to help me get a bit of extra hp from the remap that isn't gonna cost me loads, and if I decide to go for big power one day I'll shop about and order a load of top notch parts from abroad

I have an InJen Intake and UICP for sale if interested. I didn't like the fitment on my Evo IX of the intake. Really didn't like where the BOV was re located. Just didn't fit well for me.
This is what i am talking about fitment wise. This just didn't work well for me...

Here is the parts

How much was you thinking delivered to the uk? And why does the position of the BOV bother you? Is it an actual BOV and the positioning messed with the sound or is it a DV and there's something I'm missing here?

Tbh I've seen a pretty good deal for the intake, upper and lower Intercooler pipes, so I think I'll just get them ordered. I'll probably go for big power one day but until then I'm happy just throwing a bit of money at it to make it a bit more of a beast than it already is A pic of your setup would be appreciated tho

Been running the Injen setup for years as well. Same reason, cheap. No problems, no fitment issues, but it is a bit tight. If I had the money I would def go AMS or ETS though. O'well.

Just because we picked them up cheap doesn't mean it's junk. I'm making good power on it. It's just that the hype has died down. :-)

stay away from them and get something good like MUSE, ETS, Buschur. I do like how you have them coated above
