hmm.. never heard of it bucking when you give it gas... here are some things to make sure of:

1. make sure its not installed backwards... this is most likely your problem if youre bucking when you hit the gas, not letting off. i dont have access to my files so i cant post a pic for you, but go to www.evomoto.com, and click on tech section, find the how-to for the greddy type-s install. it shows pictures.

2. on that same site, in the tech section you will find an article called greddy type s spring mod. read it and do it if youhavent already. this basically involves dismantling the bov and removing one of the springs that holds the valve shut so it opens easier, causing less bucking and stuttering.

3. look around the are where you worked and mak sure you didnt forget to reconnect any hoses, clams, or connectors you may have removed to access the bov. check all your piping, make sure nothing got loose, or blown off. if you have a boost gauge, make sure you're reaching full boost, if yo dont have a boost gauge, get one, so you can make sure the valve is properly adjusted.

4. once you have made sure you have installed it correctly, the spring mod is done, and all hoses are tight, play with the adjustment screw until it behaves and sounds like you want. you basically want it as soft as possible without having your boost drop. once you've done the spring mod, the changes made by the screw are minimal, and should work ok at any setting. having the screw a little further out thn halfway works well for me, but some prefer it tighter, especially if they run higher boost.

if you do all that and still have problems, pull out the greddy and put in the stock one (making sure its oriented correctly, and everything is tight). if the car drives fine again, its not your tranny, the valve is defective, try to exchange it.

If you want the valve to be loud, make sure you have an open element filter, it makes it very loud. good luck.
