740hp evo with boost spike issue HELP

Hey all, wondering if someone could help me out with my boost spike dilemma

i was on the dyno getting tuned and we noticed that my psi was shooting to ~45lbs after 8k and we couldn't figure out why. We had to set the rev limiter to 7800 (32lbs) until we fix the issue. Later after looking at the wastegate setup we figured that it may be connected wrong. Not 100% on that which is why i'm posting in here to see if its true or if i should check out other options.

I currently have a GM boost solenoid port running to the bottom port of external wastegate and the other bcs port running to the turbo, last bcs port is vented. Currently using a 1 bar spring setup.

Current mods
-2.1 LR motor
-STM ff kit
-Tial MVR wastegate
-GM boost controller
-e85
-id2000
-BR double pumper
-stock ecu

I mainly want to know what the correct wastegate/bcs setup should be and spring rate. This is killing my 1/4 times and power not being able to rev out to ~10k

this is the GM bcs that im using
Port A to bottom wastegate port

This is how i believe it should connect... yes/no?
