I have a ix with 53k miles first time owning a evo and was just wondering if this was normal? You can't hear it outside of the car only inside of the car, also car is 100% stock and I'm 2nd owner

MY OEM clutch in an Evo 8 would chatter on engagement. I replaced with another OEM clutch from Mitsubishi and this one is a whole different animal. It is the sweetest clutch I ever encountered in a vehicle.

So, I wouldn't be too concerned, the original was like that. I say drive it until it slips.
