Engine Ticking Sound HELP!!!

So a few days ago I noticed a tick coming from my engine between 2k-3k RPMs. I thought maybe my oil was low and my lifters were just being noisy so I changed my oil. The sound is still there and I have no idea what it is. the motor now has 8k on the rebuild. The motor was rebuilt due to a spun bearing and I hope to god that this is not that. Ill post a video asap. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my DD right now.
Mods are just your basic boltons along with evo 9 turbo. I saw possibilities about it being an exhaust leak or something with the PCV valve so if experienced people could chime in it would be greatly appreciated.

lifters are pretty common to be ticking. Did you go with the no tick lifters when you did your rebuild? or at least new lifters?

maybe a bent valve?

when you changed the oil did you notice any shavings like gold colored? if so that would be the bearing...

forgot to mention when the motor was previously rebuilt hopefully they changed all to parts that controlled oil flow as shavings can get trapped places like oil cooler and lines and stufff and resurface after and destroy the new engine...

Put a long screw driver against the block and put the other side next to your ear do this all around the engine especially on the block and near the lifters...

From that sound though it does sound like big end bearing.. lifters normally speaking will tick at idle and when the car is cold once you rev it they go away as oil pressure builds up .

Beyond Redline did the rebuild with all new parts, not sure is they were no tick lifters or not.

I put a light up to the oil and did not see any shavings. I had the filter thrown away before i had the idea to cut it open to check.
