Fuel Pump & Injectors Advice

I need some advice on my fuel setup. I dont ever plan on going over 500whp (will most likely end up in the 450-480 range on e85) on the stock block and dont plan on building an engine either. I will be using flex fuel via fitronic but most of my driving will be with 93 with the occasional e85 fill. Ideally I would want a pump that is drop in plug & play but I dont think there is one that will meet my needs. So I think Im stuck between an AEM 340lph 50-1200 or Walbro 450lph and FIC 1200cc, FIC 1650cc, or ID 1300cc. I think the 450lph and 1650cc would be overkill and more expensive but idk if 1200cc and 340lph will meet my needs either..

Get ID1300's and mod your hanger for a walbro 450, and do a hi/lo voltage rewire with a hobbs switch. It'll give you good head room. The AEM 340 "might" do it, but it will also need the hi/lo voltage rewire to maximize it's output. The FIC "1200" injectors are the same as the old 1100's, which are pretty much 1050's, and they're at the limit on E85 in your projected power range.

Why the ID1300 over FIC1650? Better drivability on 93 with smaller injectors? The FIC1650 are still much cheaper than the ID1300 so I was really considering them but i dont want any negative effects on drivability. Do the ID1300 require a resistor pack delete like the FIC high-z do?

Yes, the drivability is better/easier to dial in with the 1300's over the 1650/1700's. Especially since you'll primarily be running pump gas. And yes, all the ID injectors are high-z/impedance and require a resistor pack delete.

Is it really necessary to do the rewire if I never plan to go over 500whp on e85? I thought the rewire was only if you really wanted to push the pump hard for 600whp+? Any drawbacks to using stock wiring, fpr, fuel rail and lines with this pump?

Yes its necessary. It's taxing the stock wiring if you don't do it. The hi/lo voltage rewire with drilled siphon enables you to use the rest of the rest of the stock fuel system without issue.
