evo 9 wideband install
evo 9 wideband install
I know there are alot of threads about this. I have researched quite a bit but have found many different answers. I have an evo 9 me megan dp. What I am trying to find out is the proper position of the wideband sensor and proper location on the down pipe
i put mine in the side of the part parallel with the ground under the pan. it works fine. you just need to follow the directions that came with it, which specifies making it above horizontal
I've been running an AEM UEGO for 5 years now.
You want it in the 2:00 to 3:00 o'clock position about 8 to 12 inches away from the cat. This way your o2 sensor doesn't get ruined by moisture over time. This is if you're starring towards the front of the car if you were standing under it. There is a grommet directly above that location so that you don't have to drill into the car. You want it to clear your drive shaft tunnel as well.
