Was looking at that too, but I believe it's sold now.

2k for a turbo. I'm looking to achieve 400-500 awhp on a mustang dyno and 93 pump gas is a must. I don't want to run meth mix or e85. I have a br 2.0 lr built block with a built head cosworth m2 cams, gsc valves, springs, retainers. Picking up Id 1000cc injectors and 3.5 wide tank ets fmic. This car will be daily driven.

You'll want something bigger than ID1000's if you're planning to run E85

I misread it at first. ID1000's will be fine. But why ot going with some FIC 1120's. You literally just drop them in since they're low-z, they're cheaper, and they flow more (fyi ID1000's only flow around 900cc's).

I would recommend a JB MHI FP Red, on sale for $1599 http://www.forcedperformance.net/mer...e=Lancer-Turbo

If you can swing $2250 for the turbo, I would say get a Blouch 1.0xtr http://www.maperformance.com/product...vo9-dom-1-0xtr

Can you tell if there is any major spool difference and trasient power between the 2?

Well the FP red flows about 60lb/min

While, MAP says the Blouch flow rates are as follows:
Dom 1.0XT and 1.0XTR flow 47-48lbs per min
Dom 2.0XTR flows 56-57lbs per min

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ns-blouch.html

So maybe the 2.0XTR is a better comparison. That said, I have "heard" the 1.0XTR is essentially the same as a BBK full (when Blouch turbos were sold through CBRD). So 400-450whp is realistic on pump gas.

I have not seen any dyno charts of the 2.0XTR, but I would guess it gives up ~500rpm in spool for maybe 30-40 more whp up top.

For a DD 2.0 4G63, I would personally go with a 1.0XTR, but if you want to be closer to the high end on your 400-500whp goal, then go 2.0XTR.

its pretty easy to bypass the resistor pack, was about 5 min of work when i did mine. i put in some of those asnu fic 1050s. theyre pretty nice. good clean idle and all that.
