I have considered the BBK-B as a replacement as well as the 3076R. Truthfully the HPB-IX did not feel laggy at all. As I was filming the car from the outside and Ross did the pull my buddy who was the passenger at that moment told me that it broke all 4 loose. I'll see if i can get some more info on spool, etc.

In the MLR thread, they said this spooled 200 to 300rpms sooner than an HTA Green.

It didn't feel like it was laggy on the road. The test car is a built 2.0l with 9:1 compression ratio. It's a pump gas motor. I'm sure the head is ported and such and it also has a sheet metal intake. It pulled pretty good!

I was the passenger on this pull and the car felt amazing, no lag at all.

I should have this turbo on hand in about 2 weeks. Ill be ordering an invidia o2 housing and some misc gaskets for the turbo swap. Once i get it in ill see about retuning and a review.

Why not get a Tomei V.2 O2 housing and downpipe or similar? The O2 housing is 3" at the downpipe, invidia is 2.5".

My Ividia is 3" at the opening. I have another o2 housing that isn't, though.. i can't remember the name. It's one that was popular a few years ago. I'd still use it, if i could find a downpipe to match. I don't like how little room the Invidia part has to tighten the nuts and bolts. Getting to the nut in the elbow is pretty much impossible.

Interesting I was under the impression that the invidia was larger than 2.5" at the downpipe side. I'll have to look into it.

I rather not replace my downpipe since I already have a 3" version

Nice. Once these turbos get more prevalent, it will be interesting to compare the Ross Sport VD graphs to FP54 graphs.

I can't wait to see the difference between them. According to Ross the specs are pretty close.

Since I'm on a stock block I'll have to keep it "safe" for now. Once I return stateside I'll be rebuilding the motor and trans and turn up the boost.
