Really? Over the Red? I haven't pulled the trigger on my IX as well. I was leaning towards the BBK-Full by CBRD but i'm not sure? i just don't want to lose that super responsive spool but i need more power. I'm confused. lol

I guess FP's FAP covers are popular options for all turbos. I'm assuming FP is okay with rebranding it to say "Ross"?

I'm pretty sure Ross sport sells FP products in Europe. They have the HTA aero compressor wheels...

Yes over the red lol. I like the green because its a small turbo and supposedly the new do green 54 is supposed to be super responsive. And looking at this Ross turbo it could be in the same playing field. Waiting to hear feedback on both turbos before I pull the trigger.

the turbo is made by Owen developments who make some real good turbos. They are also a Mitsubishi turbo, Garrett and FP dealer, among others... so they do make their own turbos using FP parts.

Owen developments was the builder and Ross developed the specs of this turbo, they seem to work closely with FP. As far as the cover goes once it's purchased by whoever I don't think FP can be upset with the fact that is "debadge"

From what I gather this turbo does have a HTA wheel with an OD bearing cartridge

Not a pic I took (from Ross) but it's the exact same. I got to excited and started installing my o2 housing before I started taking pics

Op did you get the BB model? Did they recommend venting the crank case while running that version? Think I spotted a catch can on Ross's car in the vid...

Yes i got the BB version. Ross does have a radium catch can setup. From what i could tell it wasnt using the turbo as a vacuum source.

He mentioned he hasnt had any oil problems with the turbo. But i guess we'll see how mine does. I do have a catch can setup on the pcv side and i have up'd the size of the breather port on my valve cover to 5/8" and im using my current turbo as a vacuum source and will continue that with this new one. Hopefully i wont have any issues.

It's installed, I need to do a boost leak test. And still working on the tune. But on the old map with lower wastegate settings it too 800-900 RPMs to go from 0-18 psi
