AFR's Rich under boost and Lean at idle

Ok so I My afrs are around 10.0 at WOT and at idle 1100rpms its reading --- or 18.0. I have done a Boost Leak Test and found 4 good sized leaks. One at the Egr, under BOV, coupling at intercooler and one on the uicp. Fixed all leaks and the car feels stronger. But the afrs are still doing the same thing. I want to get it tuned but dont want to hurt my motor. Has anyone experienced the same or similar problems. Or any suggestions. The previous owner said that the car was tuned but I dont think it was.

What mods are on the car that it may not be tuned for? What was your idle AFR after fixing the leaks?

I'm surprised it's idling that lean without throwing any codes.

And FYI, an 1100 rpm idle means that at the very least the tune has been played with. Stock idle is 800rpm.

I just had some kelford 272 installed. And my idle afr after we found the leaks was still at 18.0 to ---. And now that i think of it, it was idling at 900rpm.

Kelford 272's are some agressive cams. You need to get retuned after a modification like that.

unplug the MAF and check fueling at idle.. if it stabilizes the idle then you have a problem with the intake pulses messing up the maf measurements..

It just needs to be tuned. The MAF works fine on these cars, even with pretty aggressive cams like the Keford 272's or GSC S2's...
