I have a -04 lancer evo with a beaten up solenoid on the ayc pump. The atf fluid has recently ran out.
This is a major issue, right?
I have never felt the difference on the 3 setups on the acd switch though..
Can i just get a new solenoid and put it back together? But the bleeding process is a PITA i have heard?

 

getting a solenoid is a problem..

there is a guy in the uk overhauling the solenoids.. TBH now is the right time to overhaul the whole pump and repair that solenoid..

bleeding the system is no problem with the right tools... and even without them if you know how.
