Weird misfire issue. Need help. Tried almost everything
Here's the issue. Evo 9. 2.4L. Brand new plugs gapped to .019". Brand new coils in the sparktech CDI. Brand new OEm intake sensor. New can sensor will be here next week. Brand new denso o2 sensor.
Car has a slight misfire/sputter at light loads while cruising around. When wot at 26-29 psi. No misfire. Pulls cleanly. Turn it up to 41 psi. Can sputters as soon as it hits around mid 30 psi. I put a sparktech basic COP. All the issues go away. Car runs like a champ. Hauls *** at 41 psi with no misfires nothing.
Any ideas. Help. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
