As long as you use the right type of fuel hose it will be fine. Not sure where else you would run it.

Large zip ties or small hose clamps should be good.

I hope its the right type of hose, its from stm and says its race fuel and ethanol tolerable, just unsure how people run this style line while being safe and clean.

Also, will my car still run after this install?

And also, will my car still run after fuel feed mod and fuel pump re wire?

when I did my -6 feed I took the factory feed line off completely and ran the new line right where the factory one was. took a little bit of messing around but it works well and doesn't hang down.

The line install was a success. Lean issue uptop went away and now afr is 11.8.

My afr were going 13s uptop before the line

Thats good. FWIW Stock lines with enough pump, power, injectors, rail can make 600whp plus. Lines help with fuel delivery but make sure everything else is/was up to the task.

It makes 493 on evo scan so its no 600 hp car.
But I was having issues of it going lean uptop.
Maybe I still have a fueling issue elsewere?
It has stock fpr and stock rail.

With a rewired 450 your probably over running the factory fpr. Even on my car when when I had a rewired 450 with a Aem rail, -6 feed and a fuel lab fpr I couldn't get my fuel pressure below 60 pounds at idle without doing a -6 return back to the tank and drilling out the siphon tube. Just drilling the siphon tube might of been enough but as long as I was in there I did my own return line also.

What injectors are you running? Were you running the walbro 450 on stock wiring?

DO NOT do a straight rewire on that walbro 450. You need to do a dual voltage reqire or it will over run the stock regulator. The stock regulator and return line with the siphon drilled to 9/64's CAN handle a walbro 450 as long as the rewire is done so that it maintains the stock dual hi/lo voltage function.

Going lean out the top is not a result of fpr over run. FPR over run causes an incurable rich condition, usually at idle and cruise when the engine isn't consuming enough fuel.

I realize that over running the reg causes a rich condition not lean, my point was more or less just the fact that he should probably upgrade the factory reg with a rewired 450 not that it was causing his lean condition.

N0 its actually on the factory wiring.
I have the re wire kit but waiting on my hobbs switch to get delivered from spoolinperf.

I did a fuel pressure test with a old school guage and was at 43 with vaccum on and around 48 off. Also already drilled siphon to 9/64
