Issues after upgrades
A couple of months ago I decided to wrap up all my boost leaks that had been giving me issues. While at the same time, I decided to upgrade a few items in the process. Ever since the upgrades I've been having some odd driving issues and am looking for some help.
Changes made:
•STM Throttle body shaft seals
•ETS hard intake pipe
•Tial QR recirc valve
Issues:
•Car won't idle right anymore, not sure if maybe an issue with me not having the tps set right.. or just air still in the system.. or that the iacv just happened to quit working and it's just a coincidence.
•I have an issue where now, if I'm partial throttle and accelerating, the turbo seems to be like compressor surging almost.. maybe I'm wrong. Hard to explain, but it's almost like it's taking in more air than the turbo can keep up with? Not sure. Above half-throttle, no issues, except just having to be in it to get up to speed, rather than casually accelerating.
•Last issue I'm having, is unless I completely drop off the throttle, the car will get choppy and buck, and run lean for a second. Unless I completely drop off, then it will recirc like usual. But there is no "easing" off the throttle now for some reason. Maybe it's just how I have to drive it now, but I don't believe that to be the case. Maybe I have too still of a spring in the tial? Not sure.
Any help is greatly appreciated, I've tried to search most of these issue, but hard to find the same scenarios I'm running into. Thanks in advance, sorry for the book.

or just try throwing the stock recirc valve back in and see if it resolves the issues. If it does then you know you need to work on the tial, if not, then probably look into rescaling your MAF for the new intake pipe.
Try softer spring in tial should help with drivabilty but won't hold as much boost so need to find the happy medium. As far as idle could be IAC but double check all your work on throttle body check for vacuum leaks ect..

How would I go about rescaling the maf?
