Louder

Added the TurboXS RFL Ti. As subjective as this list is, I haven't personally heard anything louder unless it's aluminum, titanium, or non-existent (and depending on the car, it's been louder than some titanium exhausts).

It's called RFL for a reason...
I had the ETS / Horsepower Freaks 3.5" TBE with bullet muffler. I can attest it was loud. ETS now makes the catback in titanium in 3.5" with no downpipe

I have a Works TBE with their HFC. It is said to be quiet and I guess it is compared to other Evo exhausts. Compared to the stock exhaust, it's extremely loud. Folks hear me coming as I turn a corner. Warming up the car in the garage rattles the dishes in the kitchen. Seriously. At this point I'm convinced there's no such thing as a truly quiet Evolution exhaust.

That's more due to the Hz of the exhaust. My wife's MR did that with the stock exhaust.

I'm betting the resonator will take care of some of that - I can honestly say my exhaust isn't that loud, but I can still warn a car alarm going through a garage.

I'm trying to figure out where the stock resonator goes - looks like this exhaust has one at the bottom of this pic, is that where it should go?

I'm running the Tanabe Hyper Medallion Concept G-Blue and it is quite loud.. I don't know where it would fall on the list but it sounds great. I have a Megan 02 housing with full tanabe hyper medallion g blue downpipe/testpipe/catback.

What annoys me the most about exhausts and Evo’s are its loud as hell in cabin. Perhaps if I can quiet the cabin down it would make me quite happy. I’m not talking about Dynamat , maybe rubberized underbody paint on the interior cabin floor, then a layer of rubber mat and finally some sort of sponge cushion or thick wool cloth under the carpeting.

As for the exhaust I’m contemplating if I should add a MilSpec 100 cell cat or put a inline boost actuated throttle (not a dump setup) with a hole drilled in it to allow the motor to still breath when closed.

my AMS CBE with 3" DP and gutted cat is not loud at all inside with windows up cruising. i did however installed a long vibrant 3" resonator on the straight part after the cat. so, basically its fairly quiet when cruising but loud as hell during WOT.

I think as far as next steps, you'll have to consider cabin insulation. after I add this resonator, it is what it is. I'm running a 200 cel mil.spec cat, huge magnaflow muffler (bigger than what anyone offers) and adding this ultra quiet resonator (this weekend). I'm fairly happy with it, but everyone is different. aside from adding this resonator, there's nothing left to do for me on the exhaust side.
