Buschur, Sheppard Racing, and others all recommend the OEM fluid. Buschur actually went through 2 TC's the hard way.

Shep recommends Redline Products for DSM's and Evo's! He personally told me to post this on the forums. Get your info straight before you post **** like this.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I just changed the fluids:

Tranny= 2 quart BG syncroshift+1 quart Redline MT 90
TC=Redline Shockproof
Rear diff=Redline 75W-90

This is what Tunig Tech recommended I use. The biggest PITA was filling the TC with Shockproof. I had to use a syringe to put that stuff in there.

I would stick with DiaQueen on the T/C and Rear Diff, but thats me. For the Transmission I like 2 qts of Redline 75w90 NS and 1 qt of MT90.

I have had two shops (RRE and TT), as well as Shep recommend Shockproof and Redline 75W90 frot the TC and rear diff respectively.

Which shockproof flavor do they recommend (superlight, light, heavy)?

Shockproof heavy is the one these shops recommend.

nj1266.

The plastic hand pumps from kragen work also with shockproof heavy. Been rocking shockproof heavy in my TC for 25,000 miles and 10+ track events.

Um,

I have ran MT90 in the tranny and 75w90 in my TC and Diff on all 3 of my Evos with no issues.

My dealer does not sell fluids by the quart, ony 5 gallon containers so that they can rape you on in-house service.

Maybe Buschur went through 2 transfer cases because they beat the **** out of their car and it was not the fluid?
I didn't want 5 gallons either. So, I said, "How about selling me the countainer you are currently using out of." They did.

Mitsu actually sells the daiqueen in a 1 gallon jug its like 45 bucks and will last u atleast 3 changes well worth it. Research on here there are multiple people on here that have had tansfercase failure after using different oil in the transfercases i wouldnt take the risk personally

I plan on using OEM Mitsu diaqueen in my rear diff and transfer case, and either redline MTL or the BG synchroshift in my tranny
