My evo 1 slowly goes over half on temp gauge Only when I'm stationary, soon as I drive its fine,I'm thinking it's my thermostat but before I replace part any other ideas that could cause this? Head/Comp test done an was sweet.

Fans on?
Lower hose hot?
Radiator clogged?
What color is coolant?
Any leaks at all? Small even

The lower hose needs to get as hot as the top hose eventually. It takes a while but when the thermostat opens it makes the lower hose hot.
