8-9k rpm

Who runs that range with relatively small power ? Say on a slightly fettled evo 9 80series ( stock frame ) and e85.
What cams allow ?

Stock Frame turbo is going to be relatively useless at that RPM. No point in revving that high on a stock frame turbo unless you're trying to hit a trap in 4th before shifting

For higher revving your limiting factor is the stock valve springs, not your cams. You can rev the stock cams out high, but if the valves float because the spring was not stiff enough, you'll still break something.

As ||Demon|| mentioned, the turbo will run out of breath. On stock cams and turbo, I was hitting peak HP at about 6500rpm and it fell off from there. It spooled FAST.

It's not that the motor or cams/springs can't do it, it's just that will a small turbo people don't because it's not efficient up in that range
