Rod bolts

I did do a search first!

I have a 2004 evo with 130k miles, was stock when I bought it 5k miles ago, compression test was great, I did a few things and brought it up to 350whp, now I am wanting to get to 450 whp and leave it there. Someone recommended rod bolts and said they tend to go, is this true with anyone's experiences at this power level and age?

Thanks!

No, leave them alone. Keep the rev limit below 8k and they'll be fine.

Nope, u don't need upgraded, unless your revving really really high. use the rod bolt that was manufactured with the rods.

The bolts need to be pressed out so engine would have to come apart. at that point i'td be easier to replace the rods

Might as well build the block at the same time also.
