MAP oil feed line failure be aware
I've left a review on their website but it was screened and not posted, but be aware that the quality of the line is a bit low, not only did the coating fail and expose the steel braid, the braid failed due to rust at the turbo and appears to have kinked causing a bit of damage to the map ef4 turbo. This is after 2.5 years of PA/ CA climate... Failry disappointed with MAP

Hmm, not sure what happened there OP. I'm using this line from MAP, no issues yet, although my car spends more time in the garage than on the street these days lol. Is it the same one?

MAP lack of response
The other disappointing thing is I left a bad review regarding this product on their website, and it was never approved or posted, on top of that they did not even reach out to discuss the problem... After looking at STM/ and several other turbo supply lines it appears a lot of them use a bare stainless braid, I am assuming that the quality of the braid is better, I would even stay that this might not even be a stainless steel braid on the MAP line, but possibly a steel braided line, which might explain the reason when it deteriorate so quickly once the coating failed.

I've never heard of a "mild steel-braided line". They are all Stainless. OPs looks pretty beat up. It looks frayed from wear and kinked from being bent in one or both directions. To be honest, I'm not sure how much responsibility a vendor can take for the condition of that line.
