Evo stalls and sometimes randomly starts..Omni MAP sensor?

So I recently brought the car back out for this year. A few days ago I started the car up, drove fine. Start it for work the next day, it starts fine and drives fine all day. The 3rd day of having it out, I drive to work with no issues. When lunch came I tried to leave and when the car started instantly noticed the check engine light. So I sat there letting the car run and out of no where it shut down. I tried to start it back up but it dies pretty much right away. When I went to leave work later on the car started up no problem. When I went to pull out it died right away. After sitting for a while trying to start the car it randomly started up. Drove it down the road to my work and it ran for about 35 min until I shut it off. It does this randomly. Last year it did this same thing.. it would go completely lean and when I would give it gas I would get no response until it dies. last year before I put the car away I thought I fixed it because it threw a code for the map sensor. The wires going the the connector were exposed so I thought maybe it was a bad connection. I replaced the connector, but not the map sensor. This year I have a P0122 for TPS and it also threw the same code for the map sensor. I have a feeling it could possibly be the map sensor? It’s an Omni 4 bar. I’ve read of these things going bad after a few years. Would the map sensor cause my car no to start and to only start sometimes? Thanks for any input.

If you're on SD and MAP sensor is bad, it won't know to add fuel when more air is entering your intake. Check your MAP reading.

You're car has symptoms of a bad MAP sensor, and a code for the MAP sensor. I mean.... If it were me, I'd put a new MAP sensor in it...

i am indeed on SD.. thanks for the input. When I’m able to get the car home I plan on checking the map on Evoscan to see what’s actually going on. Figured I could get a head start coming on here.. thanks
