Hello All,

I recently changed my stock clutch to the ACT ME2-HDSS. Absolutely babied it for the first 300 miles, then drove it normally for the rest. Currently at 600 miles. However around 300 of the miles driven were on the highway.

Problem 1:-
Downshifting from 3rd or 4th into 2nd gear, it makes a very bad grinding noise and does not engage a lot.

Problem 2:-
Lockout on up shift 2nd gear when driven hard or WOT.

Problem 3:-
Very weird metal kinda noise when driven hard and at high rpms in all gears.

My question, could it be that the clutch still needs to be breaked in? or is this just enough?
What could possibly cause this problem???

that sucks. who installed the clutch? did you bleed the clutch slave cylinder? did you do any clutch adjustments under the dash?
