I have searched the forum but need some help. I was boost leak checking my 03 evo 8 and I found that the lower seals are leaking pretty bad. Primarily the two closest to the timing belt. I have replaced the o rings and insulators with Oreillys part number I found on here. No luck with the new seals as they still leak. I tried adding an o ring to the top portion under the rail to give it more pressure when locking them down and still leaking. I have OEM fuel rail with RC1200 injectors and stock intake manifold. Please let me know what to do.
Years ago i went down this road trying to use "off the shelf" inj seals. I remember measuring them w/calipers noting a significant difference from OEM
I ordered OE seals!
thats what I was afraid of, buy once cry once I guess lol. I just went with everyone’s recommendation of the BW kit from a thread dated years ago. I also saw threads where people used spacers or grinder down spacers.
i just used the upper O-ring of the BWD kit. The OEM seals were used at the intake port location (no added seals or spacers)
boost leak solved. While I’m waiting for OEM to arrive I went to Home Depot Racing and picked up Everbuilt 3/8 Neoprene grommets, installed and the only one leaking boost was the one closest to the timing belt. Added an oring between the fuel rail and the middle injector spacer and re boost leaked checked. 30 psi and no leaking out of any seals.

HDR for the win Good to hear youve ordered the correct OEM's
Although not understanding the relationship between a boost leak & injector seal leak?
