Evo IX Stalling out Randomly

Hey Evo Heads,
I'm at the point of needing the help of the internet. I have read and attempted several things but to no success. I've talked to a few shops including my tuner and we are getting low on ideas. I have a few thoughts but would prefer a cheaper way to continue. The thing that really bugs me is the drop in RPMS then attempted recovery or recovery. Like it's intermediate or something? But this happens equally on e85 or 93.

Here is the issue:
The Car will be idling fine, then drop to 600-400 RPM's like it's under some sort of load then either recover or then die. Sometimes the car will die when changing gears or in a turn. WOT is fine as well, this seems to be just happening at IDOL or when changing gears.

1: Checked file pressure to the rail and it seemed fine
2: Boost and Vacuum leak tested and checked
3: MAP Sensor replaced
3: AIC replaced
4: EGR Deleted

Set up: 2.0L, Kelford 272's, ETS IC piping, Tephra modded on a speed density tune, Full Exhaust, Manual Boost controller
I do have my Tactrix set up with Evo Scan & ECU FLASH ready

you could look into having your fuel injectors cleaned. Maybe try logging voltage when its stalling, could be some compounding issues like voltage drop and additional tuning needed for injector voltage comp. Gremlin hunting sucks....

I am pulling the injectors tonight and sending them off to be cleaned/repaired. Would dirt injectors cause the intermediate feel to the issue?

yah leaky injectors can cause all kinds of issues. For sure cleaning them wont hurt, and since you run E85 there is a good chance there is some gunk that could use cleaning out.

I think you will probably need to post a log of the event to get more feedback.

Did you recently changed the clutch ? this started after the clutch change ?
Did you change the battery or started the car after a month or so ?

I had a similar problem, it turned out my MAF was really sensitive and the vibration of the car was messing up the readings. Even a motorcycle passing by in traffic made my car stall out.Tuning eliminated it, but I'm not sure yours is the same issue as mine.

if you have evo scan, plug it in and let the car idle. at idle almost all the values will be within a certain range, but usually the one that is bad will be all over the place. When did you have your MAP sensor replaced? They can go bad really quickly sometimes.if you can post an idle log we may be able to help more

Check your TPS sensor and make sure the idle voltage is correct. It might be out or need replacing.

Still At it

So it's been at Buschur racing since End of September and they have been trying to sort it out. I think they have the idol and stall figured out, but now it looses power. Once I get it back I will post some logs and also what they did to correct the stalling
