Should I upgrade to an Infinity over my V2?

I've been running and AEM V2 box for a long time. I actually have no issues with it. I've been able to dial in a good hot/cold start, it drives well, and over all I don't have any issues with it. I self tune the car and I like the AEM UI, so I was debating with buying an infinity to try my hand at tuning my car with that system. I know the advantages of VE...etc, I'm just curious if its worth it to upgrade or not. I had heard some issues with the OEM 2 tooth crank trigger wheel and the infinity not liking it much (might have to get a 12 tooth or something) so I'm not sure if its worth all the hassle to get it going again with a new ECU.

Overall the v2 has been and is a very capable system. It just seems that due to it being a mature product line for AEM, their tech support isn't the greatest with it.

You need a 12 tooth for the infinity if you want it to start well, and if you want the knock control to work correctly.

It's definitely a better ECU. How much better is going to be up to you since you'll be spending ~$2k to make the switch.

It needs a 12 tooth, but yes. The Infinity 506/508 or 706/708 is tremendously more capable than the Series 2.
