Wonder if deploying the "Blue Wrench" would be OK to get this bolt moving counter clockwise?

You might try something like the snap on REX15B - or other internal extractors I've even seen a set at harbor freight. Use a little heat on the plug before you try to use the extractor though.

What did you do to remove that plug? There is threadlocker on it so the proper and easy way to do it is to heat up the area around with a torch and then it should come out quite easily. Do not attempt to remove again without heating it up. Also perhaps try using a torx bit or an allen that is slightly too large and hammer it into the plug to get it to bite.

I have been heating it up for the past few days on and off and it has not budged.

Hmmm. So I removed mine with the OFH off the engine and sitting in my bench vice but I torched around the housing and it came off super easy. If you dont heat up the area enough it'll fight you and then if you have a poor fitting allen youre done.

I torqued mine off gently with 3 foot long PVC pipe over my rachet. It took a little convincing but it broke loose. I have an extra oil filter housing if you need one.

I'm not home, so I can't look at the housing. I think it's just a few bolts holding it to block.

It looks like a few bolts that screw into the oil pump case. You should replace the gasket too.

Eureka !! Finally got her out, drilled into her carefully, tapped in the bolt extractor and attached my lug nut tool on her and pulled and got the lovely crack of it budging. Thanks everyone now to make sure no metal shavings are in my housing.....

No it isn't i just didn't try and heat it up first, i just went at stand thats what rounded it out. Heating it up first would've helped me out a lot.
