Quieter Exhaust Help

Just instslled my cutout and getting ready for my next project to complete the exhaust.

did alot of research and came to the conclusion if I added a vibrant ultra quiet resonator and some sort of oval muffler that should remove the drone + quiet the car.

Has anyone attempted this before to quiet there car? If so what did you use for the system?

For drone, determine what RPM you car drones then calculate the optimal length and add a helmholtz resonator. They are very effective at cancelling out the resonance, which is what causes the "drone" sound. To make the car more quiet add a 100CPI CAT and/or a resonator and you can also add a Varex Muffler in the back. The CAT will only cause about a 10hp drop at 700hp@wheels.

I personally run a 3.5" exhaust on my EVO and will be adding the 100CPI CAT and Varex muffler.

Take a look at the RRE Steath exhaust. No drone and very quiet. It has 2 resonators followed by a Magnaflow oval muffler at the rear. Probably one of the quietest exhaust on the market.

I believe you have to call Road Race and they build it for you. Not 100% sure though.
