Question IX want bigger?

Hi everyone!
We got a question and we hope got answer.
Evo IX MR got 2.2 Stroker, Walbro 450 fuel pump, AMS fuel rail - AN6fittings, Aeromotive A1000 Fuel pressure regulator, GSC S1 cams, stock IX turbo, stock IX ECU, European 100octane petrol fuel, not ported and polished anything.
-The stock injectors enough for us? (we want 1,8 Bar - 26 psi boost)
-How many horsepower (max boost?) can we got saffety (don't lean) with stock injectors?
Thank You!

Hello and welcome @MicsBjukenen

You have a lot of modifications to your motor & surprised the injectors have not been changed

Based on your engine modifications and the 100 octane fuel, you will need larger injectors for sure

One of the best injectors that most of our members are recommending is: Injector Dynamics ID1300

A larger turbo would be a good idea as well!

Before This engine got GT3582R and 1600cc Bosch injectors, but I did not like it. Boost come over 5200rpm.
Want agile car, and wanna bost on low rpm.
We selled this stuffs, because we know the 1600cc too big.
I thinking on about 850cc, but we know the stock injectors better than any similar cc's injectors.

Yeah, that GT35 is a very large turbo & likely best suited for drag racing. What about a nice FP Red (stock frame)? Im sure it will spool much earlier

Im not the best engine modification guy so ill let our experts reply w/their opinions

go 1000cc injectors dude. If you can't handle the lag go with a smaller turbo like an fp green or hta71.

The 2.2L engine with GSC S1 cams can pump more air than the stock engine at most engine speeds. The ultimate airflow will be determined by the limitations of the turbo, and therefore we know that you will only need a certain amount of fuel, even with the turbo at maximum output.

Because you are on gasoline, you should be fine with the 850cc injector with a stock IX turbo. Because of better/newer injector technology, you are OK to get a little bigger injector though. I recommend you choose the Injector Dynamics 1050X. They are very accurate at lower pulse widths for good performance at idle and low throttle/load positions, and on the other end they will offer a bit more margin in case you need it later on.

Nothing wrong with the factory IX turbo in my opinion. Very reliable and big powerband.
