Well I need a new radiator....

Since I purchased my EFR kit I’m going to have to get a new radiator. My old radiator is a Mishimoto 8/9 radiator so I’ve got to me the upper inlet.
My question, should I spend the extra money for the CSF radiator, or just get a Koyo/Mishimoto 4/5/6 radiator?
I assume the CSF is the best way to go, just want to verify it’s not wasted money.

Is the issue just the upper neck needs to be moved over or do you have width space constraints as well? What is your intended use with the car? Although I dont have personal experience with them from what I've seen with the Mishimoto and the Koyo units, Im not impressed. they are both very thick too which might also make fitment tighter than I should be.

The CSF is a great unit so of those that would be my pick. I opted for a CBRD radiator and yes its nice but if I were to do it again I'd probably just get the CSF and call it a day.

the upper neck definitely needs moved over. As for width concerns, I can’t say for 100 percent, but eyeballing it I doubt I could fit the full size radiator with the OEM fan how I have my old one configured now, so I would need a slim fan on top of the radiator. I’m thinking I’m just gonna order the CSF, after the price of a Mishimoto or Koyo, plus a slim fan, I’d say the CSF wouldn’t be much more.

Go with the CSF. I have it on three different Evo's, it works and fits well.

CBRD doesn't fit right, and it take 12 weeks to get.

I actually just install the KOYO 4/5/6 radiator & my oem 9 fan assy bolted up with no modifications.

I know the OEM fan assembly can mount to the radiator, but it won’t clear with my turbo setup I don’t believe.

Why doesn't the CBRD radiator fit well? I have a friend with one in their Evo and I didn't see any fitment issues.

Has anyone tried the STM radiator with billet tanks? I know it's kinda pricey.

The top tank sits against the AC condenser end tanks. Per Chad that is "how its designed". Two aluminum parts should not be allowed to rub/vibrate against each other.
