Modding a EVO 8 Intake Manifold to Accept MAP Sensor

Hi EvoM,

I'm wondering if anyone has modded an Evo 8 Intake Manifold to be able to accept a map sensor?

It looks like from from the factory Mitsubishi left the casting position for the MAP sensor, which they later added on the 9, but the hole does not go though on the manifold, nor the bolt holes.

Just drill and small orifice hole in the centre. Then drill and tap the two outer cast areas to bolt in this adapter and thread in a MAP sensor.

What year evo VIII is that? The USDM cars should have come with an OEM sensor in that location that you can simply swap out with the JDM/Evo X MAP sensor. Have had that on my VIII for about 12 years now.
