Question Did I buy the wrong spark plugs ?

Hello All!

I am getting back into working on my evo after being out of the country for work. I am pretty green but am really eager to learn and make mistakes! I started the car up and to my surprise it runs pretty good, there are a lot of things that need sorted but that is why I am here for help. My first plan is to freshen everything up. I ordered a new oil filter and oil and spark plugs. The plugs I ordered are NGK BPR8ES, from the research I did these are a step colder than stock and should be fine on my application. But I am doubting myself !?!?!?! Also, I would usually reach out to my tuner for this info but apparently they are no longer is business (CBRD) If these plugs are okay, what is a good gap ?

Any response is appreciated, thanks for reading!

Those are very commonly used on evo 8’s , cheap copper plug that works , lots also use the BR8ES which work fine too. I would run .020 to .022 thousandths.
