Heaps of oil post compressor after cracking a piston

Hi all.

I own a 2.3L Stroked 4G63t running an evo ix turbo in my rally car. I have broken a piston along the wrist pin and subsequently pressurized the sump.

This has consequently pressurized the turbo and put a fair bit (could pour it out of the intercooler pipes) of oil where it shouldn't be. Question is, have I stuffed something? I have been told there is no seal on the compressor side?

I am facing plenty of other issues like engine/gbox rebuild, body repairs etc and a rally coming up in the near future. Just wondering if some guru could give me a heads up? Much appreciated

The turbo is fine. It doesn't have "seals" they're literally called piston rings, and they work due to differential pressure.

If you're worried about it, and turbo refresh really isn't very expensive. FP does them here for about $250 IIRC. Not sure how it is in NZ.
