4.11 FD on 2.3 Stroker with FP Black

will this make my car slower for drag racing or should I go back to oem FD?

Car has

272/276 HL Kelford Cams (these are like r2)
Ported head
CBR intake manifold
S90 70mm throttle
FP Black
Ported oem manifold
O2 dump
3" TBE
Hellcat 525 pump
Fuel 6AN 8AN lines

I wonder if ill hit 600 on Q16 or VP Import

wont do E85 too expensive here cost the same as race fuel might do C16/E85 mix to keep duty down

i thought the biggest reason for the 4.11 gear was so you didnt have to shift to 5th gear

100% go with the 4.11 on a decent power 2.3 with a stock frame turbo . Its only going to go to 8000ish with the MHI housing so a taller gear will keep you in the power band thru 4th gear.

It may hurt the 60' some but make it up thru the rest of the track. I went 135 in the 1/4 around 7500 or so with my 4.11 geared fp red. You can also use a gear calculator.

The taller gearing will also calm down some tire spin on the street and the car will be faster.
