No reverse after repair of shift selector on transmission
No reverse after repair of shift selector on transmission
I was driving 2 days ago and when i shifted from 1 to 2 gear then i have no more gears and shifter inside of car was loose, could do circles with it, looked at the gear shift selector under the battery on the transmission was real loose, the bolt or something was broken, so my workshop did it for me, now i feel the shifter in car is very different from what im used to, also i cant shift til revers, everything was good until the selector on the transmission broke off
This is a 2006 evo 9 with 6 speed
my workshop told me i was missing some clips on the holder for the wires, do anyone have some tips off what it could be? Everything was perfect until it broke off
are there any adjustment for the wires or something?
im a kinda new on this so everything helps
sorry for my bad english, im from norway

I forgot to say that all 6 gears are working fine but i can feel the shifter is different from what it should be
and there is no whing or bad sounds when driving
only thing i heard was like the when i finally got it in reverse nothing happen but it was a sound like a spesial whining or something that the gear want to go in place, im not really sure how im going to describe the sound

go to this website https://partsouq.com/ and put in your vin. You will be able to look up all the parts. It will be under powertrain.
