Being they were similar to the s2 cams, they offer more lift which on a 2.2 you can actually use it. Your gaining displacement which will move more exhaust gas so why not utilize the extra lift to get the gasses out of the engine better. The only downfall would be stock size intake mani. Skunk mani is a good mani, but with something like a new JMF mani or a Magnus mani your allowing that lift to get more air into the engine. It doesn't matter if its a street car or a full out drag car you want to use as much powerband as you can to make the power. So with that said I will change my thing to r2's
