is 750 AWHP possible on a single 535 pump
is 750 AWHP possible on a single 535 pump
as my build comes together Im looking at the fuel system. Assuming the the rest of the build can support it. Can a single 525 pump support 750 or would I need to go to a double pump? Right now the rest of the build should hypothetically be capable of hitting those numbers but I know it would be a stretch on a 2.0. Understand Im not necessarily trying to hit those numbers, I just want to build to have the capabilities of it and Im trying to figure out if I need to go to a duel pump
I don't think it's going to make it. At that level, you're going to want a bulletproof fuel system, since dropping pressure is much riskier.
Running the following calculation:
750WHP
43.5 psi base fuel pressure
40 psi boost
BSFC 0.84 (turbo E85)
Total pump required = 523 lph at 83.5 psi pressure (which may be on the high side)
The Walbro 525 will do 355 lph at 85 psi according to RealStreet's test: https://www.realstreetperformance.co...t-performance/
