Where on this earth can i find a short throw shifter for my EVO 3? i cant find parts for this car to save my life

 

Not many "real" Evo short shifters were made and you won't find them through American channels.. A genuine C's short shifter goes around $400-500 these days. A Mine's shifter also just sold in Japan for $250 if I recall. You basically need to pounce on a used shifter if you find one, or find some contacts in Malaysia who have access to shifters that are still produced.

 

yeah I noticed there are very few parts out there for sale for this car, I'll just have to hope and pray I can come across one some day

 

Best to join the Everything Early Evo page on Facebook and also EVO 321 Spares UK (321 Spares also on Instagram). He often gets his hands on official short shifters. But you have to be quick on the draw as they get nabbed up pretty quick.

I myself wanted one for my project lancer, but was just unlucky with timing. One thing though, it is noted by a few that the short shifter can wreak havoc on the synchros, so that's something also to consider.
